ACTION REQUIRED: An important message from Thokozile Phiri Nkhoma and Timur Abdullaev – TB Affected Communities Constituency!
The UN High-Level Meeting (UNHLM) on Universal Health Coverage (UHC) is taking place on 23 September in New York.
The UNHLM on UHC preliminary agenda has NO COMMUNITY or AFFECTED POPULATIONS speakers on the agenda. Given the commitments by UN and government leaders to Leave No One Behind, this is unacceptable. This is a huge step back from previous HLMs where people living with HIV and TB survivors featured on the official agenda in the opening, closing and panel sessions.
