Event: “How do we advance gender equality in the NFM?” W4GF at the GFAN Networking Zone Tuesday, July 22, 2014

Join Women4GF (W4GF) Advocates from implementing countries and key Global Fund colleagues in the Global Village GFAN Networking Zone as we explore if the Global Fund is doing enough to advance gender equality, and meet the rights and needs of women and girls in all their diversity. Be part of the discussion as we exchange information on Global Fund’s successes, challenges and experiences with the NFM from civil society and key affected women.

• Progress on advancing the Gender Equality Strategy Action Plan (GES AP) through the new funding model (NFM)
• Successes and challenges working on gender equality from W4GF Advocates in countries already engaged in NFM processes
• Updates on the GES AP Implementation, and dialogue with Global Fund Secretariat, and Board delegations
• Strategy and joint advocacy on next steps.
