Zelda Nhlabatsi has taken the position of Chairperson of the Swaziland Global Fund Country Coordinating Mechanism (CMM). Zelda is the Executive Director of Family Life Association of Swaziland and W4GF Advocate who participated in the very first Women4GF global workshop in Geneva a year ago and also joined the W4GF Africa workshop in December 2013.
Speaking about her new role Zelda says it is,
“An opportunity to serve the Swazi people through ensuring that we make the best use of the funding opportunity presented to us by Global Fund.” She is “Excited by this opportunity as I will stay close to and influence a process that is meant to impact the lives of the people, especially those of women and girls.”
The W4GF Secretariat congratulates Zelda on her exciting new position and welcomes this news as a really great indicator of what W4GF mobilisation can achieve.
