Key Performance Indicator Framework – Input before 2nd Feb 2016!

Deadline: 2nd February 2016

The Global Fund Secretariat commissioned the Karolinska Institute to review and identify potential indicators – given that promoting and protecting human rights and gender equality has been approved as a Strategic Objective within the Global Fund Strategy Framework 2017-2022.

This review is based on a set of criteria (including driving critical investments to address gaps in the response, drawing from existing indicators, aligned with global plans, considerations of data readiness at country level). The Karolinska Institute shared their findings on potential corporate and operational level indicators to drive quality and strategic investments for the Global Fund to contribute to advancing gender equality (see a summary of the webinar here presentations here and a review of indicators here).

Possible KPI 1: The incidence of new HIV infection within the past 12 months among young people aged 15-24, disaggregated by sex and age group (for a selection of high-burden countries).

Possible KPI 2: The percentage of grant recipients reporting age- and sex-disaggregated data on a majority of key indicators.

We strongly encourage W4GF advocates to share their experiences at the country level on what works and how it could work better!

The KPI feedback formnarrative, and framework are attached. For comments on the KPI framework, please send the KPI feedback form 2 February to: Andrew.Kennedy@theglobalfund.org.
