VIRTUAL CONFERENCES: AIDS 2020 AND HIV 2020

Log in and check out AIDS2020 and HIV2020

In these difficult times of life with COVID-19, much of the world has gone virtual and AIDS 2020 and HIV 2020 are paving the way in virtual conferences.

I am Lucy Wanjiku Njenga, the Women4GlobalFund Programme Officer and I am a plenary speaker at the AIDS 2020 Conference. You can find all the plenary sessions here and my session can be found in the “Prime session 2: Women’s Resilience” scheduled for Wednesday 8 July 2020 at 1pm PDT (10pm CAT). There are many others sessions that are relevant to W4GF and the work that we are all doing at the national level to ensure gender equity.

If you were not able to register, you can still join the AIDS 2020 by clicking here and join the Global Village which is free of registeration charges where you can access over 160 activities from live workshops to on-demand sessions, cultural performances, networking zones, NGO booths, and the art exhibit.

Just follow the link here and see you there. Don’t forget to say hi in the chats.

We also encourage you to visit the Networking Zones where our key partners are organising. The Global Fund Advocates Network (GFAN) has a guide on their sessions here and the Women Networking Zone sessions can be accessed here once you are in the Global Village.

HIV 2020 is running concurrently with the sessions going live for two hours from July to October. To register and get the links to attend, click here

Interact, learn, share and enjoy being in the presence of each other even in the virtual world. Let your resilience shine through.
