The Regional Platforms for Communication and Coordination Programme are an important activities of the Community, Rights and Gender (CRG) Strategic Initiative.
The MENA regional platform for communication and coordination has developed French and English versions of animated videos that explain the key concepts around the Global Fund. The videos are fun to watch and short and respond to questions raised by communities. We believe these are helpful especially for those who are new to the process or need an easy way to explain the Global Fund. During each funding cycle, the Global Fund allocates funds to eligible countries which then require their funding after conducting an inclusive consultation at the country level. After technical review and approval, countries implement their grants.The Global Funds Funding Cycle is accessible here

Each country that receives Global Fund support holds ongoing ‘country-level dialogues’ where people affected by the diseases can share their experiences and help define the programs and services that can best meet their needs. their needs and those of their community.
