On June 21st, we held a mentorship session with 17 women, adolescents and girls from Ghana. Our goal is to sustain and strengthen advocacy skills among women to advocate for the Global Fund to prioritize work that advances gender equality and the meaningful engagement of women and girls
We provided technical support and advocacy tools and enhanced their capacities and advocacy skills to lead national processes and influence the 2023-2025 Allocation Cycle. The session was a space to share successful experiences and lessons learned and encourage exchange between peers.
This effort particularly emphasizes disseminating the significance of catalytic investments to expedite progress in reducing new infections, tackling structural obstacles for improved outcomes in HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria, and promoting equity, sustainability, and enduring influence.
