W4GF ANNUAL MEETING IN KIGALI

Women4GlobalFund held its annual meeting on 21-23 July in Kigali, Rwanda, following the Women Deliver 2023 Conference. The meeting was essential to strengthen our strategy, fulfil the organisation’s mission,  and ensure long-term sustainability.

Our annual meeting has echoed the voices of change-makers and advocates who tirelessly work towards gender equality in all the Global Fund processes to achieve a comprehensive, gender-sensitive and transformative response to HIV, TB, and Malaria.

W4GF carries these voices, amplifying them in every space we work. Together, we will build a future where gender equality is not a distant dream but a vibrant reality, especially for women in all their diversity living with or most affected by HIV, TB, and Malaria.

After engaging in meaningful discussions that enriched the movement, W4GF renewed and fortified our dedication to ensuring that all women in all of our diversity have full access to comprehensive health services for HIV, TB, and Malaria. We also emphasized the importance of empowering women advocates to amplify their voices and enhance their advocacy skills, enabling them to actively participate in decision-making forums that shape both global and national health policies.

Your participation ignites the flames of our movement as we forge a global network for knowledge sharing and fostering the capacity to drive gender equality and social justice within the Global Fund. Stay active, get engaged, and be a part of this transformative journey!
