The Global Fund Advocates Network (GFAN) has released a Cheat Sheet on the 2025 Results Report — a quick, accessible tool for advocates.
👉 Key progress:
• 70M lives saved since 2002
• 63% reduction in HIV, TB & malaria deaths
• 25M+ on HIV treatment supported by the Fund
• 75% TB treatment coverage in eligible countries
• Millions protected from malaria with nets & prevention
However, critical setbacks remain:
• HIV prevention sharply down, especially for adolescent girls & young women
• Fewer malaria nets distributed
• Drug-resistant TB treatment still lagging
• Gender & structural barriers continue to exclude women and marginalised communities
The Cheat Sheet is a clear reminder: progress is fragile. To protect gains and close gendered health gaps, we need a fully funded 8th Replenishment that centres women and girls in all their diversity, rights, and community-led responses.
