This past World TB Day, Women4GlobalFund (W4GF), together with TB Women Global and the Global Coalition of TB Advocates (GCTA), launched a feminist Call to Action to demand urgent, gender-transformative TB responses. 🌍🫁
Ending TB requires addressing the root causes of inequality that shape who can access care, who receives timely treatment, and who is left behind — especially women and girls in all their diversity.
As the Global Fund enters Grant Cycle 8 (GC8), we call for full funding of community-led, people-centred TB interventions, including:
- Reaching high-vulnerability settings
- Strengthening prevention and early diagnosis
- Reducing stigma and discrimination
- Investing in the TB vaccine pipeline
- Addressing drug-resistant TB
