The Global Fund has entered into a partnership with Fondation Chanel that will support and strengthen the participation and engagement of women and girls, in their diversity, in decision making spaces that affect their health and wellbeing.
Through this partnership the Global Fund have launched Voix EssentiELLES in Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire and Senegal and will expand to additional countries in Western and Central Africa region.
The Global Fund has issues a request for proposals (RFP) seeking an organisation that will support the set up and operationalisation of Voix EssentiELLES.

The overall project objective is to increase meaningful engagement of women and girls in their diversity in Global Fund related processes and other relevant country policies and processes that impact on women and girls’ health in Western and Central Africa region.
Through this RFP, the Global Fund is seeking an organization that will set up and manage the Voix EssentiELLES project that will include an engagement fund and a capacity development and leadership program targeted at community-based and grassroots organizations, groups and networks of women and girls in their diversity; to strengthen their participation and engagement in Global Fund processes and other national policies and processes relevant for their health and wellbeing. Voix EssentiELLES will put in place structures and mechanisms and will utilize strategies that address barriers to meaningful engagement by women and girls.
The initiative will have an initial 9-months pilot in 3 countries (Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Senegal), with plans to expand to additional countries in the region in the 2nd and 3rd year.
The supplier will ideally be an organisation with strong networks or existing operations in Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, Senegal and the Western and central Africa region. See more in the actual call.
