This discussion will highlight why the Global Fund’s 7th Replenishment is important to women and girls. Over the past couple of year COVID-19 and challenging operating environments has drawn into sharp focus existing inequities and vulnerabilities that affect the health and lives of women and girls– including in areas such as economic stability, food and nutrition security, overall health and security (including safety when faced with violence), self-determination, and agency to enjoy their sexual and reproductive rights and health. Now more than ever these challenges that women and girls are facing must remain front and centre to the Global Fund.
W4GF advocates have worked hard to help raise money for the Global Fund because the Global Fund is saving lives. Join this short discussion to talk about why the Global Fund matters and key actions to follow a successful replenishment.
