A Community Guide to the Global Fund’s Strategy 2017 – 2022 from the Regional Platform for Communication and Coordination for Anglophone Africa, hosted by EANNASO!
At the 35th meeting of the Global Fund Board (in April 2016), several important new documents were formally approved and adopted. The Regional Platform for Communications and Coordination for Anglophone Africa are committed to ensuring that civil society fully understand these new policies and strategies.
Over the next four weeks, the Regional Platform will release a series of community guides which summarise and simplify these new Global Fund policies and strategies, emphasising which parts are important for civil society to know and how we can further engage.
The first community guide is a basic introduction to the Global Fund’s new strategy for the period 2017-2022. In this guide you will find:
- The four overarching strategic objectives for the Global Fund over the next six years
- A complete list of the sub-objectives, with clear explanations of what they mean and why they matter for us
- Important targets for key and vulnerable populations as well as women and girls
