The Global Fund Board is currently seeking people to serve on the Technical Review Panel, the independent group of experts that review funding applications. They are especially keen to recruit people with expertise on Human rights and gender
The Global Fund relies on the Technical Review Panel to ensure its investments are strategically focused and aligned to the Global Fund Strategy 2017-2022. Deadline to submit applications is 15 September 2019
The selection process strives to achieve a balanced and representative Technical Review Committee with strong consideration for the following qualities:
- HIV
- Tuberculosis
- Malaria
- Resilient and sustainable systems for health
- Human rights and gender
- Strategic investment and sustainable financing
In addition, expertise in the following cross-cutting areas is highly desirable:
- Challenging operating environments
- Community systems strengthening
- Program management
- Skills in reviewing funding proposals or programs and/or advising health programs are considered an asset.
